Ideal Business Partner

Do you ever give any thought to your ideal business partner? Have you progressed in your own personal development to now know who would best compliment your business?
I must admit, early on in my home business, I didn’t give it much thought. I was just anxious for any business partner. But as I grow personally and professionally, I have come to understand that I need to fully comprehend who I am looking to partner with in business.
The Law of Attraction states that you play a part in what you bring into your life, and thus into your business. Have you ever stopped to think about the kind of partner you want to attract to your business? What characteristics and traits would an ideal business partner have?
Now the tough question, do you yourself have these ideal characteristics? If not, do you need to do some work on first achieving them yourself? You probably have heard the saying, “We attract who we are.” So if you want the best, are you working to become the best?
As part of my daily goal review, I read over the list of characteristics of my ideal business partner. Daily before making contact to potential partners, I focus on the attributes I think would make a good match for my business.
This is helpful for me to see my responsibility as an interviewer. I need to ask questions in order to get to know my prospects. I recognize that not every one is a fit for my business nor is everyone a fit for me. When I understand that, there is no sense of loss or rejection when it doesn’t work out. I just return to my list of ideal characteristics and set into play what it is I desire.
Your homework:
1. Write down a list of characteristics that your ideal business partner will possess.
2. Be sure you are acquiring those characteristics yourself.
