I was feeling so grateful today for the opportunity to work from home and be my own boss. There is nothing in the world like the freedom that comes with having choices. I wonder if you wish the same for yourself.
Recently I asked a few people about their ideal day. The question I posed to them was, “When you fire your boss and can decide your own work schedule, what will you do when you have a whole day to yourself and no longer have some one else controlling your time?”
What fun answers I got. Here’s a few – any sound like something you would do?
1. Ride the formidable roller coasters at the amusement park all day long until I was exhausted from the laughter and the butterflies in my stomach.
2. Have a scrumptious lunch in the Japanese Gardens and just linger on the plush grass admiring the beauty of the hard work that someone else did.
3. Ride my horse along the beach until dusk when I could watch the magnificent sunset over the ocean.
4. Spend the day soaking up the sun while slowly rafting down the long, lazy, winding river.
5. Sip lemonade (maybe even a Mike’s Hard Lemonade) by the pool while I read my favorite book.
