Note: This is a copy = of a=20 editorial I wrote for last year's February Newsletter. It has just = as much=20 meaning in THIS newsletter because there are so many new=20 distributors who really NEED to understand the importance of=20 attending at least one major Fling! 

=93When I enrolled in my first network = marketing program=20 in 1986, it was simply to purchase a great product for personal = use.=20 Marketing was not something I had in mind. I had a busy life as a = printer=20 at a weekly newspaper, co-owned a martial arts studio, taught and = engaged=20 in bodybuilding and on weekends jumped out of perfectly good = airplanes!=20

Life changed and I found = myself sitting in=20 a wheelchair wondering if I'd ever walk again, let alone work = again. While=20 visiting a body building friend in California I decided to attend = that=20 company=92s annual convention because I received a letter from one = of my=20 upline who said that whoever came to convention would see their = dreams=20 come true. At that point in my life, dreams were far and few = between.

When I arrived at that = company=92s 2nd=20 annual convention I was on a cane and struggling to find a = =93place=94 for=20 myself in the future. What I heard for those 2 days at that = convention=20 changed my life forever.

I heard =93stories=94 from = everyday people.=20 Stories about success and life changing experiences. It was at = that=20 convention that I made a decision to become a network marketing=20 professional.

When I arrived back home I was = a changed=20 person and my friends could see the =93fire=94 in my eyes! I = talked to=20 everyone about a business opportunity that could change their = lives. Most=20 of my friends thought I had =93lost my mind=94 but a few believed = in what I=20 was saying.

The person who really caught = that vision=20 was my friend Bob Scocozzo. And together we formed a wild and = crazy dream=20 team that talked to everyone about financial freedom. Within one = year, Bob=20 had sold his successful franchise to stay home and help raise his = newborn=20 son, Mike, and I moved to a beautiful resort complex in = Scottsdale,=20 Arizona.

Our lives were changed because = I went to a=20 company convention and took my belief home. I shudder at the = thought of=20 =93what if?=94 What if I had never attended that convention that = year. Where=20 would my life be today...surely not better!

So, when people ask me if they = should=20 attend this years Spring Fling. I look them in the eye and say = with true=20 belief...=94You really cant afford to NOT attend!=94

Ask yourself how many times = you will be=20 positioned in front of a growing company where YOU have the = potential to=20 make a life changing income? And then ask yourself what would = really keep=20 you from attending a 2 day event that could spearhead that = dream!

Small Town Gal Doing A Big Town Job!=20

3D"WendyMy name is Wendy Dahl and I am = from the=20 Northeast corner of Montana. I am a small town gal doing a big = town job=20 and loving every minute of it. I started my venture with the Mia = Bella=20 candles in August of 2005 when I met Kari Andersen at the Daniels = County=20 Fair. It was just an act of fate that we met. My sons wanted to = show me=20 some items of interest to them and then the smell hit me when I = walked in=20 the door of the quonset on the grounds. I had to find out what = that was.=20

I visited with Kari = for quite=20 some time that day and returned the next day to purchase candles. = That=20 night I was signed up to be a distributor and never looked back. I = have=20 had the pleasure to explore many network marketing businesses in = my life=20 thus far. I have had many failures and some successes and have = learned=20 from each experience. I believe these experiences will carry = through to my=20 new business and make me a success if I allow the time and = patience it so=20 deserves.

I have been = fortunate enough to=20 touch on every aspect of this business with the help of my mentor = and=20 coach, Kari Andersen. One could not ask for a better business = partner or=20 friend. I have had=20 the support of my family and friends to create quite a name for = myself=20 even though it may not seem like it. I have learned that just = because you=20 live in a small town does not mean you cannot do big business. I = have=20 stepped out of my comfort zone and been active with craft bazaars, = candle=20 parties, retailing, and finally fundraising. This aspect of my = business=20 has been very exciting for me.

Several of us = home-based=20 distributors in every field (for example Pampered Chef, Mary Kay, Creative = Memories, etc)=20 have gotten together and are putting on open houses=20 where = the public can=20 come out and see what is available besides their local retail = stores. It=20 is so much fun to get together and share each other=92s business = stories.=20 You would be surprised at what is available from people who work = from home=20 and the leads generated from it.

Currently I am = working with the=20 fourth and fifth grade classes of our local school in doing a = scented bear=20 fundraiser. We have only displayed these bears at two home = basketball=20 games. Prior to the second game, I delivered more bears that were = finished=20 for the display to the school, and within an hour of being there, = I sold=20 17 more bears. We currently have sold 38 scented bears and a total = of $508=20 in sales. How exciting is that? I would like to add that these two = classes=20 consist of four boys=92, that=92s it. These boys are raising money = for their=20 spring field trip as well as raising funds to support a local gal = who lost=20 everything in Hurricane Katrina. Just to listen to these boys will = melt=20 your heart. They care more for someone else with nothing than they = do for=20 themselves.=20 I am so = fortunate to=20 be a part of this action plan. The community has been of = tremendous=20 support for this cause, and we are not finished yet. I cannot wait = to see=20 how this fundraiser ends. What a win-win situation for=20 all.

I have been able to = incorporate=20 my candle business into every area of my life. My husband and I = have our=20 own carpet cleaning business. This has really gone hand-in-hand = with the=20 candles. Every carpet-cleaning customer receives a votive candle = as a free=20 gift. I have received so many leads and sales from this simple act = of=20 generosity.=20 I also = work as a=20 bookkeeper for my husband in a grain elevator, and this has proved = to be=20 very successful for the candle business as well. I have a display = set up=20 in the elevator and have done very well with sales by doing this. = I am=20 really surprised at the men who purchase candles, even bachelors. = We get a=20 lot of compliments that this is the best smelling elevator there=20 is.

Prior to me signing = up with=20 Scent-Sations, I was enrolled in college courses at home trying = for a=20 degree in Medical Transcription. Being a stay-at-home mom has = always been=20 a goal of mine. Despite being a very busy girl in all areas of my = life=20 between three jobs and a wife and mother of three (Jace 13, Quaid = 11, and=20 Kassidy 6), I will graduate in the spring of 2006 with a straight = "A"=20 average after a two year commitment. I keep asking Kari, "Why did = I go=20 back to school again?"

All in all, I cannot = complain about=20 what I have accomplished thus far in my life. I am starting to = build a=20 team of my own with my candle business and share this experience = with=20 others, and also have a good clientele built up for my carpet = cleaning=20 business. I believe I will be a success if I continue to set goals = and=20 create an action plan to accomplish them. I cannot stress enough = how=20 important this is. I love what I do and am proud to be a Mia Bella = distributor. May 2006 prove to be successful for all of = you.

Hi! I=92m Susan Lambert and I live in = Seabrook=20 Beach, NH. I am married and have 3 boys, Joshua, Jordan and Jake. = I have=20 worked for several years now, semi-full time as a Medical = Assistant in a=20 busy doctor=92s office.

I was shocked and excited to find out = that I would=20 be writing my story for our newsletter. I am still amazed at how = great=20 these candles smell and how I found Scent-Sations. As Kari = Andersen (my=20 sponsor) puts it, "A seed was planted the day I traded a candle = for some=20 lipstick."

It all began the day I spent with my friend = Mariah=20 chatting and catching up on our lives. Mariah knew that I was = searching=20 for a job that I could do from home to be able to stay with my 2 = =BD year=20 old and baby on the way. I am a teacher and decided it was time = for me to=20 take some time off and stay home and be mom for awhile. I have = loved that=20 decision ever since.

I had been looking at a couple other party = companies,=20 but just was not happy with what they offered to their = distributors.=20 During our conversation, Mariah showed me the candle she had = received from=20 Kari as a trade for some lipstick. It was not burning but still = smelled so=20 good that I made the comment "WOW, I just want to lick it!" (So, = now on my=20 business cards, I have the saying "Your Gunna Wanna Lickum!") The seed began to grow from that moment on. = For as soon=20 as I saw the company website and what a great product this was, I = called=20 Kari. That was one of the best conversations I have ever had for = she is=20 the sweetest person...we have yet to actually meet but she has = been the=20 best sponsor I could ask for!

That little seed popped right out of the = ground Thursday=20 afternoon. After several days of praying and giving this business = to the=20 Lord, my husband and I decided that this would be a great business = to=20 start and I signed up for my starter pack late Friday = afternoon.

The story doesn=92t end there, and this is the = part I=20 still can=92t believe. At this point, that little seed got the = water and sun=20 it needed to grow even bigger. I think I = actually fell=20 off my chair! I could not believe that not more than 24 hours = after=20 signing up myself, I was in the position of sponsoring someone = else. I=20 thank God it was a very close friend because they have been so = patient=20 with me. It was crazy at first but I am still enjoying all the = learning. I=20 have to give most of the credit to Kari, for she is the one that = has=20 really trained both of us.

I am excited to report that Mel and Ward beat = me to the=20 punch and actually sold their first candle before me! I am happy = for them=20 and this opportunity to share this adventure together. While = writing this=20 letter I do have to let you all know that I have placed my first = order and=20 have made several leads out in our community. I look forward to = what the=20 future holds with selling Mia Bella Candles.

Mia Bella's=20 Turning On More Customers!

Hi, Charlie!

I wanted to forward this testimonial to = you. It is=20 wonderful. The woman who wrote it was a vendor at a small craft = show I was=20 also attending. We started talking about scented candles and she = told me=20 how she wasn't able to even walk past a bath/body type store in = the mall=20 without holding her nose because of her sensitivity to scents.

She has been at her friends' homes where a scented candle was = burning=20 and after only an hour she would have to tell them either the = candle had=20 to go or she had to go.Her headaches were so bad.

Before this, in order for me to have scents in the home I = actually=20 would leave fresh fruit cut in a bowl instead, or have fresh = flowers cut=20 but even that at times got a reaction out of me. The worst is = smelling=20 something just for a second and receiving the worst headache for = hours. I=20 would love to be able to let others know how great this is and how = you=20 were right in telling me to try it. Recruiting=20 Is the Lifeblood of Your Business
3D"JackieAs a networking professional, and someone = who is=20 interested in creating more than a =93hobby=94 income, you=92ll = want recruiting=20 to remain at the top of your priority list of action steps for = your=20 business.=20

One can earn a great income retailing our wonderful products = with=20 Scent-Sations. We offer in-demand, unique products. This gives us = a nice,=20 competitive edge in retailing.

One can also earn a substantial income focusing on fundraising, = too.=20 Once again, we offer a unique line of products that the end = consumer can=20 actually get excited about and will consider purchasing more of in = a=20 fundraising situation. And, one successful fundraiser can lead to = many=20 more.

To truly grow a solid, residual based income, however, = recruiting is=20 what grows your business and where the true =93big money=94 comes = into=20 play.

As you sponsor one, then another, and another, the personal = effort=20 required by you to generate that same paycheck as before is less = and less.=20 You have created =93income leverage=94 as well as time leverage. = You are not=20 alone in taking action steps to create income.

To create a large, growing organization, set a goal for the = number of=20 people you are going to personally sponsor (or recruit) into your = business=20 each month. To do this, you=92ll need to set some action goals for = yourself=20 on steps that you will take to find those people. The recruiting = process=20 involves the introduction of the product and business; providing = detailed=20 information on our business system; and asking for the decision to = join=20 you.

We are in a business of planting seeds and cultivating those = seeds. The=20 more seeds you plant, the greater your harvest will be. Running = out into=20 the field and trying to force the harvest is not something we do,=20 either.

Don=92t make the mistake of planting only one or two seeds and = then=20 expecting to grow a beanstalk! Plant many seeds, water and sun = those=20 seeds, and allow the natural process to occur.

Your business will only be right for another person based on = his/her=20 life situation and timing. You can not control this part of the = process=20 and I encourage you not to even try. Always keep the door open and = make=20 yourself available to answer questions and sponsor that person in = at any=20 time.

I typically sponsor as many people each month who first looked = at the=20 business weeks, months and even years before, as I do those = looking for=20 the first time. I understand timing. It took me 15 months after my = initial=20 exposure and a life changing event before I joined my first = company. Make=20 sure you are still around when your prospects decide the time is=20 right.

My personal goal is to be among the top ten =93Sponsor = Monsters=94 that the=20 company tracks. This goal keeps me in action and gives me an = action plan=20 for each month. I know the steps I need to take and the number of = people I=20 need to get my business in front of in order to reach that goal. = It also=20 provides inspiration for my team to also be listed in that = group.

Even if I fall short on reaching that goal, I still have the = action=20 plan out in front of me and know that the efforts I put in each = month=20 build on the previous month and will keep me with a growing = business and a=20 growing frontline of business builders.

New team partners mean new excitement for the entire team. I am = the=20 first to admit that I do not have all of the answers, and = especially not=20 the creative ones, about our business. There are many people more = talented=20 than me on my team, and the synergy created by having so many = resourceful=20 people in one place is amazing.

New ideas and new ways of marketing our products and our = business come=20 from new team members joining our ranks. That is why recruiting is = the=20 lifeblood of the business. Every month, I am energized by the = fresh=20 excitement that sparks renewed enthusiasm on the team.

As the coach of your organization, you will inspire more by = your own=20 actions than by your words. Set your goals and intentions for = recruiting=20 and watch as the leaders on your team rise up to match and exceed = those=20 goals. Some in network marketing miss the point of duplication and = leverage when they want to always be the one at the very top.

For me, I am happy to be at or near the top, and even more = happy when=20 other leaders on the team have duplicated my efforts and goals and = moved=20 right on up the ladder. That, my friend, is what creates =93walk = away=94=20 income and income security.

And, that is one of the big lures of network marketing =96 the = ability to=20 get paid whether we are present or not, on the efforts we put = forth in the=20 beginning.

A wise man once defined success as a refined study of the = obvious. How=20 true. Most of what we need to know, say, and do to achieve mastery = in=20 Network Marketing could be easily taught=97and understood=97by a = 12 year-old.=20 Why then are we making this business so difficult?
Let=92s = agree to start=20 teaching The Seven Truths of Network Marketing to those who = actually want=20 to create their own destiny, and leave the rest of the world = alone. After=20 all, we=92re involved in a great industry, with terrific people, = offering=20 unprecedented opportunity. And we should be proud to speak the = truth.

1) Network Marketing is a = business
Networking is=20 a unique form of enterprise, and you=92ve got to understand the = game=20 you=92re playing. Therefore, mentally consume every page of your = distributor manual the day it arrives. Listen to your training = tapes=20 again, and again, and again. Like a song on the radio, you learn = the=20 lyrics by hearing the music one more time.

2) Freedom by the numbers
Understand the = numbers,=20 and your compensation plan. Start by involving three or five = people,=20 whatever number of legs and leaders your plan dictates. By your = fifth=20 year, the commissions paid on your invested efforts could well = equal a=20 mid six-figure annual income. After that, the sky=92s the = limit.

3) Attend every live event
The weekly=20 presentation is part of the process. You need to be in = attendance every=20 week=97to see the presentation again. Remember the music? You = need the=20 association, and the environment to showcase your company for = your=20 prospects. True, not everyone attending every meeting earns = $10,000 a=20 month. However, everyone earning $10,000 a month attends every = meeting.=20 Now that=92s a refined study of the obvious.

4) Work only one company
Leaders = understand this=20 truth, because no man or woman can serve two masters.

5) Have a compelling written = =93WHY?=94
Success in=20 Networking is 20% how to, and 80% why to..The best part is if = your=20 reasons are strong enough, you=92ll learn everything you need to = know=20 along your journey.

6) Invest in yourself first
Some people = are still=20 trying to earn a year 2002 wage, using a 1982 education. It = can=92t be=20 done. If you want to earn more, you=92ve got to learn more. = Therefore,=20 read all the books, attend all the classes, and learn everything = you=20 possibly can.

7) Decide in writing you=92ll be here a year from=20 now
Long-term written goals possess the power to = pull you=20 right to the top of your company. Put your dreams for your = future on=20 paper, and begin building your life of magnificence. The great = Winston=20 Churchill once said, =93The truth is incontrovertible. Malice = may attack=20 it and ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is.=94 = The Seven=20 Truths.

You'd think = if it=20 was "baby soap" that it would be gentle to a young child's skin. = But her=20 skin would turn blotchy and red and be so dry and itchy. When it first went on the market for ordering, = after I=20 tried a tube, I ordered several samples to hand out to people I = met and=20 talked with. She has=20 wanted to be in business since 3rd or 4th grade when she started = her first=20 business making =93beadie buddies=94, which she sold to her = friends at school.=20 In the 8th grade, she attended a Girl Scout workshop on building=20 businesses and she had to write a =93business plan=94. She wrote = about a=20 business in which she was the owner, a home based business, where = she sold=20 candle products and gifts, and she called it, =93Gifts By = Peanut=94. She won a=20 $5,000 scholarship based on that business plan. Then, a year or = two later,=20 she ran into your business opportunity, and the rest is history = (or is=20 that herstory). I hope you enjoy it!

During the Spring of 2005, Mandy Sachse was a sophomore in High = School=20 and desperately wanted to attend the Summer Art Lab program at the = Kansas=20 City Art Institute (KCAI). Her father and I had agreed that if she = could=20 pay half of the cost, she could go. That gave her four months to = raise=20 around $1,000. She became a waitress, won 2nd place in the art = contest at=20 St. Mary=92s College (winning $100), and won the KCAI Leadership = Scholarship=20 (worth $250). Still concerned that she would not make enough money = by the=20 deadline, she discovered this business opportunity! She became = very=20 excited and said that she could do this. By the end of May, Mandy = had met=20 her goal, and had some money to spare! Mandy continued to sell = candles=20 after the Summer Art Lab. She now has new goals of wanting to save = for=20 2006 Summer Art Lab, as well as a Trip to France in her Senior = Year=20 (2007). After that of course, she has high hopes to attend the = KCAI. She has hosted several parties and even had a booth at the = Kansas City=20 Home Show. The Home Show was exciting. We spent weeks preparing = for it,=20 ordering enough stock, preparing our booth display, lead cards, = business=20 cards and fliers, as well as sachet samples to give away. Even = though the=20 show didn=92t produce the quantity of sales that we had hoped for, = we=20 learned a great deal, enjoyed networking with other vendors, and = made=20 notes for improvements for our future booths. We are beginning to = receive=20 call-backs from attendees interested in hosting parties and = fundraisers,=20 so although it may not have been a huge hit at the time, it has = promises=20 of future business. We are appreciative of our family and friends = who have=20 supported us in our endeavors. We are especially grateful for my = husband=20 (Mandy=92s dad), Herman, who has also helped us with sales, both = at the home=20 show and with getting the word out to many friends.

We=92ve also been very involved in the Leavenworth-area = =93Spirit Bag=20 Association=94. We=92ve been very successful in helping our school = and other=20 charities raise money, along with our associates, through the = sales of=20 Spirit Bags. We also helped with a fundraiser at our parish, and = were very=20 pleased with the outcome for them.

We joined the Business Network International organization and = meet=20 weekly in Leavenworth. We are proud to be a part of that group, = which is=20 based on the concept that =93givers gain=94. We provide referrals = to the other=20 businesses in the group and they return the favor. It=92s a great = way to=20 market your business, and best of all, you get great tips from = established=20 business leaders on how to improve your sales, referrals, = marketing, and=20 they share new ideas that improve business skills as well.

We=92ve been in the business for less than a year, but we have = had a=20 great time with it. It allows us to be creative. We are always = thinking of=20 ways to spark new interest in our product. We make gift baskets, = with the=20 main attraction, of course, being our fabulous fragrant candles, = but we=20 can add in other products, which we=92ve incorporated some of = Mandy=92s=20 artistic talents in the form of original artwork note cards. = We=92ve also=20 utilized Mandy=92s artistic skills in designing business posters, = fliers and=20 signs. Mandy has always excelled in all of her coursework, so this = gave=20 her great opportunities to learn practical inventory management, = as well=20 as accounting for income/expenditures. Most importantly, I think = Mandy=20 enjoys being her own boss. I=92m her adult partner, co-owner of = the=20 business, as well as proud mother.

Hometown=20 Hero: CPL Jeno Hankerson

I would like to nominate my = husband, CPL=20 Jeno Hankerson (or Hank as we all call him). Hank is currently = serving his=20 second term in the United States Marine Corps. He is with 1/5 = Charlie CO=20 HQ PLT stationed in Camp Pendelton, CA.

I met Hank while I was in the marine corps = from=20 1993-1997. We were friends for a year and a half before we started = dating.=20 I have never met anyone that was as dedicated to his family, = friends, and=20 country as Hank is. He left active duty after his first enlistment = (4=20 years) was up, and we went home and he went into the marine corps=20 reserves. After 9/11 he immediately started the process to come = back to=20 active duty, doing whatever it took to come back. If you know = anything=20 about the marine corps in particular, the toughest and most = demanding job=20 is the infantry. Because he wanted to do what he could for our = country, he=20 accepted a position in the infantry, not his original military=20 occupational specialty. At 28, when he came back in, he was = considered=20 very old to the other marines of his rank (he also took a demotion = from=20 CPL to LCPL to come back in, and 28 is old for that rank), but he = kept up=20 and surpassed some of the younger marines, giving quite a few of = them a=20 run for their money!

He has done 2 tours in Iraq already since the = end of=20 2003. He missed Christmas in 2003, the birth of our 3rd child in = 2004,=20 came back and then left again for Iraq and missed her 1st birthday = too! He=20 returned the second time 1 day after our 10 year wedding = anniversary on=20 September 30, 2005. He will be leaving for the third time this = summer, and=20 will probably miss another Christmas and anniversary. He has = sacrificed a=20 lot both personally and physically and would do anything for his = "marine=20 brothers" as well as anyone that needed him. We lost a close = family friend=20 3 days before his return from Iraq. Upon his return, he got home = and=20 within hours of landing had to get on a plane and go to Chris' = funeral=20 detail in Idaho. He also lost several of his friends and comrades = from his=20 unit. We only hope and pray that the 3rd trip (if they pull him = from ship=20 duty) is as successful for him as his last 2. He is a true = hometown hero=20 in every way.

Distributor=20 Sets Goals For New Year

I found Scent-Sations while = looking in a=20 forum of women in their own business. I found it under fundraising = topic.=20 What impressed me about Scent-Sations is the openness of = information=20 available on their websites. It was easy to read about the = company, look=20 at marketing material, and also check out all the products.

I looked over everything in order to make an informed decision = in=20 getting involved with the company. That was great. I ordered the = Candle of=20 The Month and later ordered a variety of other scents, as well. = All of the=20 candles are great smelling and burn nice. I also have asthma and = found the=20 old paraffin candles bothered it. Mia Bella candles do not bother = me at=20 all.

This year I am working towards more customer establishment. = Working at=20 craft shows was great fun and I loved it. My preference is craft = shows and=20 fundraising so that will be my focus this year. I can't wait to = try out=20 each candle one by one. I love telling people how these candles = are so=20 different, especially the soap and water cleanup. My aunt said it = was like=20 "cleaning up hard candy."

I=92m Cherrie Fishlowitz and I started = with=20 Scent-Sations on January 29, 2005. I intended to =93sell a few = candles=94=20 mainly to fill some of my time during the day. I had been out of = work for=20 nearly 2 years undergoing various surgeries to try and correct the = damage=20 to my arm. When I did try to go back to work against what my = doctor told=20 me, I was laid off. It was difficult to go from a thriving career = in Human=20 Resources to sitting at home with Judge Joe Brown and Judge Judy. =

As I read more about the company and researched this industry, = I=20 realized that this was an opportunity that exceeded anything that = had ever=20 come my way. I started to become very excited about what I had = decided to=20 do and went full force.

With Kari=92s help and encouragement I was a Diamond = Distributor right=20 around my third month. Slowly and steadily my team grew. I took = everything=20 that I was given in terms of training from Jackie, Kari and the = training=20 calls. As time passed I managed to claim ownership of my business = and=20 myself.

I went to the Fall Fling in spite of a few difficulties. It was = a=20 wonderful experience and gave me a chance to step way out of my = box. I was=20 able to FINALLY meet Jackie and I also met wonderful people like = Gail Wahl=20 and Timi Moore. I was so pumped up at the Fall Fling that when = they=20 announced the dates of Spring Fling, I booked my room immediately. =

I had a day of epiphany in November as I watched my team and my = volume=20 grow. I realized that I was succeeding in my efforts and carving = my own=20 path in spite of my unconventional approach. Then as I thought = about it=20 more, I knew that I was going to be able to eventually replace my = weekly=20 income with my candle sales and my retirement would be replaced = with my=20 residual income.

With this realization I decided to take a giant step out of my = box and=20 I joined a national networking group that met every Tuesday = morning for a=20 breakfast meeting. After the first meeting, I was ready to sign = up.

With Kari=92s help I was able to build a very strong foundation = for my=20 business that is now starting to pay off. I have also been able to = use=20 many of the skills and much of the knowledge from my previous job. =

Then December came, my membership into the networking group was = accepted and as Jackie said, I learned the secret handshake and it = has=20 been awesome! December was my best retail month and my best = recruiting=20 month. I=92m so glad that Jackie waited until the end of the month = to tell=20 me that December was the slow month for recruiting!

Now here=92s the really =93Scent Sational=94 part of my story. = As I=20 mentioned, I had an injury. That injury made me incapable of = competing in=20 the open job market. What I didn=92t mention is that about 5 = months before I=20 formally met Kari, I had a traumatic event occur in my life. This = single=20 event nearly destroyed me. It certainly shattered the world as I = knew it.=20

When I met Kari I was suffering from disabling panic attacks = and I had=20 become agoraphobic ( Agoraphobia - Fear of the outdoors, crowds or = uncontrolled social conditions). After emailing many times, I = finally got=20 the courage to meet with Kari right below my condo. Most people = will never=20 know how hard this was and how hard taking every step I=92ve taken = in this=20 process has been.

I strongly believe that everything happens for a reason. It=92s = the=20 little miracles that make a difference in a person=92s life. = Everything that=20 has happened to me in the last 2 years has been major, but the = good things=20 are the results of the little miracles.

So, thank you Carmen and Lynn Milazzo, Bob Scocozzo and Charlie = Umphred=20 - without your vision, I would not have seen my way out of a very = dark=20 place. Thank you Kari Andersen and Jackie Ulmer - without your = guidance I=20 would not have been able to find my way out of that dark place. = And thank=20 you Margarath (my biggest Cheerleader) and Mitch (the one with the = CASH)=20 without your support I may have fallen back into that dark place. = Thanks=20 also to my Team because YOUR success is my success!
